Joe, Betty and Baby Laney

Where do I start with this post:) Betty's sister decided to give Laney the gift of a photo session to celebrate her being 100 days old! Joe and Betty called me up to capture this. I was so excited to do this because I was the one who shot Laney's newborn photos, and one of the most wonderful parts of my job is me being able to see families grow. I was also so excited to do this because of what happened the week after the newborn session.  About a week or so after that session, Joe had a brain aneurysm and was rushed to the hospital. He was in a coma for a few weeks, and no one knew if he would make it. I write this, because it makes these images even more special to me. To see a beautiful family stick together and stay strong through such a hard time... to see Joe walking around and holding baby Laney now, when not too long ago, we didn't know if he would ever hold her again. Joe and Betty... thank you for being such an amazing example to everyone of trusting God... and getting through the hardest of times. Thank you also for choosing me to capture your family. It was so great spending time with you. Here are a few of my favorites from our session.
